Seems standard operating procedure to keep you holding until you either die of boredom or hypothermia and if you prove far too resilient then they will cut you off anyway. I can just about understand why it's all paid into electric - can't imagine there are many dwellings without it whereas not everyone has gas - but you would think that the utilities companies themselves would make provision for the transfer between gas and electric accounts held in one name/address.

Go the payments then to transfer credit. You have to transfer to savings then wait 30 minutes I'm having issues with it thoughdoesnt seem to want to let me do it

Same over here. I was told explicitly that the payment would be on electricity but I could use it for gas. Can't get through in time on my work breaks and no option on the app. I don't need all of this electricity credit, I need to pay my gas bill (which is huge for a 1 bed flat I'm barely in!)
