The reason for the price rise is because of the Price Cap increase set by Ofgem due to the ongoing energy crisis which has seen an increase of whole sale gas costs,

The new price cap went into effect on the 1st of April 2022

Obviously know it Rose on first, high is understatement, all passed on to consumer as usual in UK

By way don't energy companies make enough money as it is, yes its service to be paid for but they should be wearing masks if citizens gonna get robbed, rant over
