    My gas on the smart meter is not matching up with the app it's saying the balance above is 894 days old! And the ihd is just saying awaiting for data this has been going on for months now so whenever I need to top up I have to go outside to the meter and type in the long code I am constantly worried incase it goes off this is not good

    I'm sorry to hear this - this doesn't sound right at all. It may be that there is a communications issue between your meter and our systems, but the good news is that this can be easily fixed.

    I'd recommend giving one of our Customer Services team a call in the first instance - they're trained to be able to resolve these issues quickly. Customer services can be contacted on 0330 333 7442 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm Saturday.

    @PeteC I have rang them there sending an engineer out to do a comms check hopefully it will sort it out what do do u think as it's really inconvenient and I'm sick of it

    That's good news! I think that's probably the best outcome - they'll come and make sure that everything works as it should do, or make any adjustments if they need to! I hope it gets resolved for you soon, please let me know if there are any further issues.
