I have been trying to access the Warm Home Discount since it opened but every time I go to the page it reads, "Sorry, we couldn't find that page."

I am clicking the link in the app.

    I am in Scotland.

    This is the link: https://utilita.co.uk/warm-home-discount/scotland

    Hi @MJWalsh,

I am unsure why this occurring for yourself how are you trying to access the application form page?

In the meantime can you try using the guest access page to apply:
Apply for Warm Home Discount | My Utilita

    Kind Regards Dean

I'm accessing the page via my phone's web browser.

    The link you've posted works.

I can't see Adult Disability Payment (ADP) from Social Security Scotland listed on the page however. I believe that is what qualified our household previously. Is this the correct link for Scottish households?

Due to you not providing further information on how exactly we should apply, the window for applications has now closed. what are we supposed to do now? Knowing full well that our previous application was accepted, and our circumstances have not changed.

    Please fix this.

    Hi @MJWalsh,

The link provided was a guest link for those applying in Scotland - There is no longer an application system for England and Wales as this is all done and organised directly by the DWP this was also highlighted at the top of the Guest Application page.

If anything was not on the application then usually this would mean that wouldn't qualify - You can use the DWP and Utilitas main website to confirm the criteria for entries.

The community is not always manned we will provide support and assistance when we can but it is not a customer service platform - for urgent support we recommend calling in the first line and if you are unable to call in the use of our live chat is available.

If you do meet the criteria for entry then In this case I would recommend calling our customer service line directly and they will be able to help you further.

    Regards Dean

Surprised at no replies here. The link was broken for both E&W and Scotland. Scottish link was not fixed.

I called day 1 of first window in September, the whole seven working days the window was open, nobody could tell me if my application was received or not, despite an email and text saying there were received.

The last comms I had was another text saying apologies, we know we said we received your app, but we’ve had technical difficulties

please try again. Tried again, their software says ‘you have already applied’

customer service, on three calls, advised to call the DWP to check.

if anybody has ever dealt with the DWP.. there’s not a guy on the other end helping you with your problems. It’s a myriad of auto blurb. Anyway, somewhat infuriatingly, the DWP line did not open until 6wks after Utilita closed theirs

now, I see there was another October window that wasn’t communicated but does exist :D

UTILITA can’t handle this process. There are papers documenting their failure last year to the tune of MILLIONS needing redress, and they failed to repay all the 2024 applicants who were let down, in time.

The best thing, is that you can’t leave supplier whilst your application MIGHT be in the Broader Group lotto.

I hope you were successful in the end, and didn’t come out of it as bitter as I did.

Poverty is hard enough. Utilita are making it harder for people in this bracket.

I still don’t know the status of my application.

    very best of luck.
