Hi, I switched over to Utilita a fortnight ago.
I'm on the Smart Energy Tariff

I get up around 4am and I think it would be better if I was on an economy 7 based tariff.

I already have an economy 7 merer
I prepay

What do you think?
Never got close to using a kilowatt off electricity, so it will be at the higher rate.

I don't know if the night rate is cheaper under the kilowatt ceiling, do you know?

@Dean thanks for your reply.
I don't know yet if it would be worthwhile pursuing this.
Previously with Eon I payed different rates for day and night and adjusted my life to gain the most from that (getting up at 4 am and doing the heavy power drain activities then).
Now there is a daily kilowatt hurdle.
Do you know if the night rate would be cheaper below the kilowatt threshold?

Is electricity cheaper using economy 7 on night time rate below the kilowatt threshold?

Logic dictates it should be, because Utilita are paying less.
