When should I be doing meter readings? And I don't understand the day and night options on the meter reading page on the app. I'm all electric, no gas. Would appreciate if someone could explain to me how exactly to do the reading and when I should be doing it, the date etc. Thanks 😊

The readings should be provided to us, ideally on the last day of the month. If it is not possible to send them on the last day of the month, it is best to send the reading as close to this date as possible. This ensures as accurate billing as possible. In terms of the day and night reads. This is for customers with economy 7 electric meter, this is due to these meters having a cheaper unit rate at night. Whoever you are renting the property will be able to help you further with taking meter readings from the meter in your property.

@WilliamB what time should I do the morning reading and what time should I do the night reading? My account shows I'm on economy 7. It's an all electric flat. If you tell me what times to do the readings for day and night I will do them on the last day of this month. Thank you 😊

You can take the readings at the same time, as the meter will differentiate between the day and night rate itself. There will be two sets of readings on the meter, sometimes these show as 01(day) and 02(night).
