Thank you to all of our Power Payback customers! So far during the Power Payback service we’ve had two opportunities to earn and reduce your usage. Here’s how they went:


- 70% of customers signed up to the service opted in
- Customers managed to save around 3MWh of electricity
- The savings so far have helped the planet – the reduction in CO2 emissions is equal to 2750 miles driven!
- We’ve credited meters with nearly £10,000 so far – wow!

@Juliag73 Hi there, I have checked with the Power Payback Team and got this response:

A couple of weeks ago, there was an anticipation for an event , but didn't happen and we sent SMS to customers to let them know that it won't happen eventually.

Today is the event and the event start SMS will be sent 1 hour before the event starts.

I’ve taken part in the last few trials and it has been easy to do , just changing a few habits. I leave home for work at 3am so I put a load of washing on before I leave instead of putting it on at night. Also turning lights off during the energy saving event has been easy to do and cooking an hour earlier

Rebecca hello I have just done 2 days of power payback and earned 44p is that just for the one day or both as I turned absolutely everything off unlike last time I did it and earned less I am a little confused

@Rebecca this is my second time doing it between 6.30/7'30 didnt save the 1st time although only had one tv & wifi on obviously fridge freezer had to be kept on lets see if I save this time same things on again
