    After 4 years utilita, decide to put smart meter even after fitted to much hassle even all credit gone gone emergency etc.. We had prepayment account but now we really don't know what we are on. . We want to go back to prepayment. Calling help center is, just wasting time. Waited 2 hours noone picked the phone. Whenever I want to chat just they r calling and passing to each other another 3-4 hours wasting. How or who can, sort this. Installer came back and he said they should do online. But can't manage them to contact. Help pls

    @Cemmy074 Hi there! In order to change your meter type in terms of switching to prepayment to credit and vice versa - you do need to speak to an advisor on the phone unfortunately as it cannot be done online as Utilita will need to pass data protection and discuss payment details etc.

    If you are on credit then you will always have an endless supply of energy and will just be charged and pay via bill if you are on a credit meter agreement.

    Can I just confirm whether you are on supply with power?

    @Rebecca. Thank you for reply. Yes I talked with them after 5 hours waiting. They put credit account which I never wanted they put me back to prepayment but now smart meter is not connecting with machine. App is not working and when I Che k my balance on machine looks like I used nearly £90 in 2 weeks time which is impossible. Totally this utilita, is hassle and never had these problem before. Yes I ll chat with them tomorrow again and of I am lucky I can conne t them under 2 hours.. Thank you
