    I am new to smart meters I was given to cards one for gas one for electric topped up at paypoint yesterday came home typed in the gas code went on fine . Typed in code for electric said error not excepted I tried a couple of times unsuccessful I went back to paypoint he then circled Auth code E459 said ring them and tell them it’s not gone on.. still can not get through by phone to tell them. I have £2.36 on emergency and can not get it work.. I never wanted a smart meter in as I knew there was always problems and they eat money like no tommorow can anybody else help me in getting this electric voucher on my meter . Also I was not told I had a barcode on my app to pay for gas and electric I found that out yesterday when trying to sort the ruddy electric

    @melissa26503 Hi there,

    So can I ask what the meter says when you type in the vend code?

    You will need to push any A, and then A again - type the vend code in and then push B.

    If it then says rejected/failed - it will provide a reason after it, such as 'duplicate'.

    What is the rejection reason coming up for you when you do it?
