I got my storage heaters removed on 28/09 and I’m looking for advice on the cheapest tariff to select. I have replaced storage heaters with modern electric radiators and still have my hot water immersion tank.
I am currently on the control plus tariff with a day and night rate, however, the majority of my electric usage is during the day and it’s quite expensive.
Looking for advice if a standard rate tariff would be most appropriate to switch to? I would boost the hot water tank during the day for a little hot water as opposed to filling over night as I rarely use the whole amount in the tank.
I’m hesitant to get an E7 smart tariff due to high day costs.
