Received my energy bills support scheme payment into my electricity account which appears to be the standard practice. However, like many other users, it would be more beneficial to divide these payments between electricity and gas. I noticed someone raised this point in community and a manager has confirmed the credit can be switched to gas if required when it is on the meter. Unfortunately, they don’t explain how to do this. Please advise. Thanks

I was wondering about this too. With winter not far away why didn't they split the money.? Or give customers the choice about how to allocate?

I am trying to contact by ‘chat’ about this - I would prefer it to be split between gas and electric - surely easy to do on alternate months ??? - I am 148 in the queue so I gave up.

Hi @Bobcat,
If you would like the money to be moved please call customer services on 0330 333 7442 between 8am and 8pm Mon-Fri and 8am and 5pm Sat. The payment is designed specifically for domestic electric supplies. If you would like further information on this the gov website which I have linked below outlines everything you need to know.
