I am curious why EBSS payments are being credited to my electricity account. Surely, the choice should have been at my discretion? I would have preferred the payment credited to my gas smart meter as I use minimal electricity and it means the payment is virtually useless. I have tried to call the help desk in excess of 50 times, only to be cut off every call.

@Mike so have you had yours credited to your account already

Hi @Mike,
The Energy Bills Support Scheme is to help households with a domestic electricity supply, however customer services will be more than happy to move over any credit you have to your gas.

I have had mine credited to my electricity yesterday, however I did not receive an email. I thought that both gas and electricity were being credited and the £66 were being split between the two, but was not. I did try and call the customer service but kept getting cut off. Definitely not very good customer service, most especially when a lot of people would rather speak to an actual person. A lot of people do not have access to the internet

@Lawrence that's what I'd like to know
