Hi Everyone,

Many of you will be aware that the Energy Bills Support Scheme grant of £400 will be paid soon and you will be eagerly watching your meters for this. The first payment is due any day now and all future payments will be made in the first week of each month ending in March. There are many posts on the community asking this so please feel free to take a look. Yes as some have already received it. My daughter got hers yesterday yet I’m still waiting.

Amazing how they can send the new extortionate rates to my smart meter on October 1st, but as yet have not credited the energy support grant. Shameful

What date do we get this I've tried to phone but every time I get through someone hangs up the phone and I can even hear them talking before they do

I was wondering if a date has been said but then I’ve seen some have received it so I guess it’s a waiting game till they credit it

Hi Tammi,

There is no specific date for when the payments go on as they are staggered across the first week of each month so as not to overload our systems. If you have not yet received a payment please get in touch with customer services on 0330 333 7442 between 8am and 8pm Mon-Fri and 8am-5pm Sat.

@Cat.. Utilita said last week that my ebss showed "pending" & I had to ring them back today to chase it up. I keep getting cut off from calls, my smart meter is not getting a signal. hasn't for last 18mnths but it hasn't been corrected. I'm banging my head against a brick wall with Utilita. any advice welcomed.

I'm having the same trouble. they told me to ring back today. keep getting calls cut off after I type in my details. live chat que was ended without warning. no signal to my smart meter for electric. hasn't worked for last 18mnths. seriously considering leaving Utilita. I'm a priority customer and they treat us all lije ****.

@Cat... we keep getting cut off.. I've never had a signal from my electric smart meter @Utikitas end. my gas one is perfect..
I cannot get in touch with yourselves if my calls keep getting disconnected at your end. I understand you are all exceedingly busy, but it's near the end of Oct now. by the time my 1st ebss payment is sorted, I'll have to go thru all this **** for the 2nd one. please help this very ill & vulnerable customer x
