Good morning all. I have a question as I am on a prepayment meter.

If I buy my gas and electricity today at the set prices, does that mean I pay that price? Or when the price changes on the 1st October, I will be using it at that price.

Basically can I buy my gas and electricity cheaper now and its set at that price?

Hi @Jamesinswansea,

The tariff changed at 12:01am on October 1st. Before this date you paid with the tariff you were on, after this date you will pay the new tariff. When you top up you are buying credit, you do not buy your gas and electric at a certain price.
