I'm only posting on here because I've spent 2.5 hours on the phone this evening and it's all they keep going on about.
I had a smart gas meter installed 4 months ago (prepayment). I've never been able to top up, payments are rejected and EVENTUALLY refunded. Have called multiple times, emailed, Facebook messaged- the answer is the same- we'll contact you when we have an appointment. FOUR MONTHS of no appointment 👍 outstanding service. I can't even input a meter reading on the app because there's no option for a gas reading. Managed to speak to someone who promptly hung up (hopefully a mistake!) They got me to press a load of buttons on my meter to get a meter reading, every option she suggested the meter just stated 'not used'. The only time numbers show is if you press B twice so it says IMP KWH and then it Changes to a reading. The reading is 42564.37- seems unlikely and pretty impressive that I've used that amount in four months considering my old boiler died in the middle of January, I didn't have gas for 2 weeks whilst I had a new combi boiler and all new radiators installed which is meant to be a LOT more efficient than a 1970s heating system.
I don't really have a question. I'm just bored of being on hold and want to say everything before they close and cut me off in 5 mins.
