The gas meter keep taking money over £1.30 every night from 8pm and 6 am , I phoned utilita many times complaining about this, they refused to fix this issue, I sent them screen shots of the meter Charges, and no one did some thing about it, it was a big mistake when I moved to them.

@qaisomer Hey! Do you have any appliances gas reliant that could be using the gas over night?

Hi Rebecca, no at all, the boiler always switched off in the night, when I called Utilita, they checked the data system and they said there is no gas usage in the night from 8 until 6, I believe the gas meter system has been set up to take money from gas meter automatically

Ok this is super interesting because I went away on holiday for two weeks. Turned off heating and water. And obviously no one was cooking. So you’d think that we’d have come back to the same amount as when we left.
And yet we are £18 down. On top of that - I just took photo of the meter before and after the two hours we used gas today and calculated our kw usage. It’s £1.98 less than we were charged during that time period (see my own post in this forum).
what is going on? I’ve been on hold for 90 minutes and not getting anywhere.
