Thank you for your post and the pictures showing the issues with your IHD, What this is showing is that the IHD is not connected to the Home Area Network, If you contact our Customer Services line on 0345 207 2000 then an agent will be able to add the IHD to the network and get this connected up for you or alternatively you could use our Live Chat at Help | Utilita Energy.

I have tried this and they said they opened up something but they have booked an engineer in to come to my house to do a comms check.
Is it likely the engineer will be able to fix the issue and do I even need an engineer? -
Hi @markawes,
If customer services were not able to resolve the issue remotely then this sounds like a communication issue that can only be resolved by an engineer visit. They will check the signal strength and boost the signal if necessary and then get your display up and running whilst on site.
