With the Premier League starting back up again, myself and @Nuno wanted to share our weekly Premier League Football Predictions. 🏅

For this weekends football matches 16th, 17th and 18th of October 2021, read below! 👇🤩⚽

Nicks Predictions:

Watford 1 – 2 Liverpool
Aston Villa 2 – 0 Wolves
Leicester 2 – 2 Man UTD
Man City 3 – 0 Burnley
Norwich 0 – 1 Brighton
Southampton 2 – 1 Leeds
Brentford 2 - 4 Chelsea
Everton 0 – 0 West ham
Newcastle 1 – 2 Tottenham
Arsenal 3 – 0 Crystal Palace

Games not to miss & this match week predictions

Game 1 - Leicester 2 – 2 Man UTD

After a mediocre start to the season for Leicester who are currently languishing in 13th I think this will be the catalyst to kick start the season for the Foxes with this being a great time to play United with the Pressure on Solskjaer being at an all-time high after an arguably disappointing start to the season with fans expecting better. Jamie Vardy has been his usual self this season with 6 goals in 7 games and if Iheanacho turns up I think this’ll be a very difficult game for United to handle, with both of United first choice centre half’s out of contention that leaves an expected pairing of Lindelof and Bailly to start the game.Stat of the gameIn the last five matches where Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly have both started, United are winless.

Game 2 - Brentford 2 – 4 Chelsea

I have gone with quite a bold prediction here and I do think Brentford have the real possibility of winning this, but I think with Nuno's predictions in may be Chelsea!

Match Review: Match day 8

Highlights:

Leicester 4 – 2 Man Utd

Earlier in the week Nick suggested this could have ended evenly which was not the case fortunately for Leicester. The Foxes were playing some amazing football and caused all sorts of problems for United. This was one of the games to watch this week and the result surely means more pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job role. They will next play – and will need their star players like Ronaldo and Fernandes to step up their goal involvements.

Brentford 0 –1 Chelsea

The Brentford vs Chelsea match was one of the more impressive games as if not for Ben Chilwell’s volley this newly promoted could have got a result. The Chelsea goalkeeper had a great performance and kept Brentford at bay, but this team has been quite impressive since their promotion and should be kept a close eye on this season.

Arsenal 2– 2 Crystal Palace

This was one of the games to watch this week as Patrick Viera the Arsenal legend come back to the Emirates as Crystal Palace’s manager and nearly took all 3 points home. This was a match that Arsenal appeared to be up for during the first few minutes, but Palace rapidly adapted and in the second half It was evident that Viera’s tactics and game plan were better than his counterpart Arleta’s plan.

Overall our predictions were not that close, showing how unpredictable this premier league really is. As the season develops I’m sure we will get closer results but this is what we love about the game, with the highs & lows and terrible VAR usage (in my opinion). We will be back at the end of the next batch of games, feel free to keep up to date with us as this could be a long season for some fans more than others.

⚽⚽⚽⚽Premier league match week 11 round up ⚽⚽⚽⚽

Southampton 1 – 0 Aston Villa
It was a good day at the office for Ralph and his squad with Adam Armstrong breaking his goal draught early into the game, Southampton were dominant in the first half and had plenty of chances to add to their lead. If it wasn’t for some quality saves from Martinez it easily could have been more. Villa stepped up in the second half, but The Saints held on for the win and with Villa now losing five in a row two days after the game Dean Smith was let go.

Manchester United 0 – 2 Manchester City
United’s bumpy start to the season continued this Saturday with another loss after a win against Spurs last time out, Manchester City delivered a dominant performance as an Eric Bailly own goal and a Bernardo Silva strike earned the champions their first Manchester derby victory in five Premier League attempts over their local rivals at Old Trafford.

Brentford 1 – 2 Norwich
Norwich finally have a win in the premier league this season on the eleventh attempt however to the shock of many, long term Norwich manager Daniel Farke was let go after the game as they currently sit rock bottom of the league with 5 points.

Chelsea 1 – 1 Burnley
Arguably shock of the week as Burney held the current European champions to a draw at Stamford bridge. Substitute Vydra converted Jay Rodriguez's knockdown with only 11 minutes to go with Chelsea made to face the consequences of missed chances.

Crystal Palace 2 – 0 Wolves
Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher moved Crystal Palace into the top half of the table with a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. A sixth match unbeaten moves Palace up to 10th with 15 points. Wolves are a point and two places above Palace after their five-match unbeaten run came to an end.

Brighton 1 – 1 Newcastle
Isaac Hayden cancelled out a Leandro Trossard penalty to earn Newcastle United a point at 10-man Brighton & Hove Albion. Brighton finished the match a player light after Sanchez was dismissed in the second minute of stoppage time for denying Callum Wilson a goalscoring opportunity.

Arsenal 1 – 0 Watford
Emile Smith Rowe scored in his third successive Premier League match in somewhat controversial fashion as Arsenal moved up to fifth with a 1-0 win against 10-man Watford at Emirates Stadium. Watford felt cheated as they expected the ball back after a throw in however Arsenal went on the attack and took the lead on 56 minutes when Smith Rowe fired into the far corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Everton 0 – 0 Tottenham
Antonio Conte's first match as Tottenham Hotspur head coach ended in a goalless draw at Everton. After ending a run of three successive defeats, Everton sit 11th on 15 points, one behind ninth-placed Spurs.

Leeds 1 – 1 Leicester
Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel made a smart second-minute stop from Raphinha but was unable to prevent the Brazilian handing Leeds a 1-0 lead with a superb free-kick on 26 minutes. Harvey Barnes's stunning first-half goal earned Leicester City a 1-1 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road.

West Ham 3 – 2 Liverpool
The Premier league went with a bang before the international break, Two goals in seven minutes by Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma helped West Ham United end Liverpool's long unbeaten run with a 3-2 win that puts them above the Merseysiders in third place. Liverpool substitute Divock Origi pulled a goal back with a brilliant finish on 83 minutes before Sadio Mane headed a great chance wide in stoppage time as the Reds suffered their first defeat in 25 matches across all competitions. Victory puts West Ham on 23 points, one ahead of Liverpool, who drop to fourth.
