I'm sorry to hear that. It can be really tough trying to manage energy use before pay day.
The best plan for energy management is to make sure you're using your emergency and friendly credit on your meter effectively.
The 26th is a Saturday so you might get paid on the Friday or the following Monday. Either way friendly credit will be available for smart meters from 2pm on the last weekday to 10am or so on the next weekday. So as long as you can get to 2pm on Friday 25th, you should have energy available until you're paid.
If your emergency credit has not been activated yet that's £15 of credit to get you until the next time you top up. 9 days is a little bit of a stretch depending on how much energy you use but could be doable.
If you also have a smart metered gas supply for heating/hot water and/or cooking, the gas meter will also have a £15 emergency credit option available. And there are options to move credit from one meter to the other if you have spare credit on your gas meter.
If you have the MyUtilita app you may be able to apply for a power up loan through the app. You can also contact our customer services teams through the website chat, or on the phone. Bear in mind there are eligibility criteria for some of those loans.
If you're struggling with energy management in general or you're finding this cycle of needing help with energy is happening regularly each pay period I'd really recommend looking at longer term options and changes. Check out if you're eligible for the Warm Home Discount this year. It wouldn't help immediately but, if eligible, it might help get you ahead in a couple of months: Warm Home Discount 2026 - Utilita Community
I hope this helps.
