    I called Utilita yesterday to get an account set up. I did use their online form a month ago but I got no reply. After speaking to multiple people on the live chat I was given a number to call (01962891192)


    I called the number and did manage to get an account set up yesterday, however since then I have been receiving calls and voicemails from Utilita customers. It comes through on my phone as the Utilita customer service number above but the people on the line are customers trying to set up an account that have been forwarded to myself and not whichever internal department they're trying to reach.

    Someone at the call centre is clearly forwarding calls to me or my number has somehow been entered into their phone system as an internal number. I've tried calling but the agents have no idea what I'm talking about and dont help.

    I've sent an email but since my email from last month has gone ignored I'm not hopeful for a fast response. How can I make this stop? Its an extreme nuisance, a breach of my privacy and I'm concerned my number is visible to these people.

    Thanks for taking the time to leave a post on the community.

    That sounds really odd, and we definitely want to investigate this further for you! I've sent you a DM requesting some information so that I can access your account, once I have that I'll be looking into this as a priority for you. In the meantime, if you can take any screenshots of calls like this on your phone, we can get this looked into for you ASAP.
