    Hi everyone
I'm just wondering does anyone know a specific date or week that the warm home discount is likely going on?
We're on the priority service register and my wife has recently been signed off work with aggressive rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and both knees. Thats left us with quite a dramatic loss in income and this goihg on this side of xmas would be really helpful. Im already got kidney issues and my wife already had underactive thyroid. I'm sure there are others with utilita in similar situations and hopefully get sorted soon too.
Anyway thanks for reading this and merry xmas to you all.

    Hi @Daveyboy73

    Thanks for your post!

We are currently working on the date that we will be able to issue the Warm Home Discount payments to our customers - the payments can be applied to customers accounts at any point between now and March 2026, and as soon as we are able to we'll do so - we'll be letting our customers know when this payment will be arriving before it's applied.

    I hope this helps
    Many thanks
    Pete

Because utilita need to be named and shamed. How they treat the vulnerable customers that's why

    Hi @Evie88,

For Clarity, the recent Ofgem investigation into Warm Home Discount payments. Ofgem found that due to an internal error, around 4,000 customers did not receive their payment on time. While this was regrettable, it’s important to note that this represented only 0.5% of our customer base.

As soon as the issue was identified, it was rectified and compensation was paid to those affected, in line with Ofgem’s requirements. Utilita continues to operate fully within the Warm Home Discount scheme rules, which are set by the government and regulated by Ofgem.

You can read Ofgem’s official statement here: www.ofgem.gov.uk/press-release/utilita-pay-ps277000-warm-home-discount-payment-failures

It’s also worth highlighting that over the past year, Utilita has taken extra steps to support customers these include:

    Our charity Utilita Giving.

We published guidance to help customers unlock unclaimed government benefits such as Pension Credit and Winter Fuel Payments.

We continue to provide energy‑saving advice, smart meter support, and priority services for vulnerable households.

You can read more about these initiatives here:

However Please also remember our Community Guidelines as stated previously, which you can view here: www.community.utilita.co.uk/threads/12-Utilita-Community-Guidelines

It doesn't look like that you look after vulnerable customers at all. If so why are you withholding customers £150 warm home discount. When other suppliers have paid theres in nov. When it starts getting cold ect. It's absolutely shocking how you treat vulnerable customers ect trapping people in high energy costs. If any one reading this stay clear of utilita. Please also read there Facebook page ect just shows you how they really treat there vulnerable customers. People in desperate need of the support and there holding it as long as possible. Please read all the vulnerable people's comments on face book thanks

    Hello @Evie88,

Thank you for your posts, we wanted to give you a final reminder that all posts must comply with our Community Guidelines.

Your recent posts continue to breach the rules by making unverified claims, using inflammatory language, encouraging boycotts of Utilita, and posting repeated messages across threads which constitutes spamming.

The Community is here to provide respectful, accurate, and constructive support. Repeated breaches disrupt the space for other members. Further violations could result in a limited time ban and potential removal from the Community.

We understand your concerns about your Warm Home Discount payment, However Utilita has Until the end of March to make the payments as stipulated by Ofgem again if you are unhappy with Ofgem's Policy then we would recommend you speak with them directly about their policy.

    Regards Dean
