When I got a smart meter I thought life would be a bit easier but if my gas or electricity runs out when I’m not home and I top up using the app, I still need to be home to press buttons on the meters to turn it back on? I don’t see the point in this as sometimes I can’t get back soon enough which means my freezer will be in the process of defrosting and no security night light on when no one there?
