    Hello everyone,

Firstly, thank you for being part of the Utilita Community. Whether you’re new here or have been sharing for a while, your contributions matter. This space is built on real people helping real people, with questions, tips, feedback or just sharing day-to-day experiences.
To get even more out of this Community (and make it more lively, helpful, and fun), here’s what we’re doing, and how you can help.

    What’s happening right now

    • We have many valued members in the Community, with hundreds online at any given moment.
    • Categories like Help & Support, New to the Community, Off Topic, Bill Buster tips, Utilita Giving, etc., are already active, but we'd love to know what you would like to see
    • We've launched our competition section - you can win prizes every month, just by being a member of our community!

Why your voice makes a difference

    • Sharing your experience might help someone else who’s going through the exact same thing.
    • Questions you ask can open conversations, help us see what’s unclear, what needs fixing, or what people want to know more about.
    • Your tips and suggestions often lead to improved features or better support for everyone.
    • And let’s be honest: seeing replies, being part of a discussion, having others appreciate what you say, it’s rewarding.

What you can do to help us

Here are ideas for ways to get involved, even small actions help:

    1. Introduce yourself - If you’re new: say hi. Where are you, what’s your connection with Utilita, what kind of energy questions do you have? Someone reading might reply, share similar experiences, or offer helpful tips.
    2. Share your “wins” - If you solved an issue (smart meter, app, billing), tell us how you did it. What worked, what didn’t.
    3. Ask open-ended questions – Instead of “my app isn’t working”, try: “Has anyone else had issues with the MyUtilita app after the latest update? What helped you get it working again?” That invites more responses.
    4. Help others where you can - Even small replies (“I had this happen, this is what I tried…”) can be so helpful.
    5. Use the Off-Topic section - Share what you’re interested in outside energy: music, games, food. It builds connections, makes the community more human.
    6. Give feedback and ideas - What features do you want? What would make the site or app easier to use? What topics aren’t being covered that you’d like to see?

    What’s coming up

    • Monthly community competitions & prizes
    • Feature threads: spotlighting member stories and “best tips”
    • More guides in the Help & Support section to make answers easier to find
    • Occasional ‘live chats or Q&A sessions where Utilita experts join the forum for a set time to answer your questions

    Final thought

A community’s strength is its people. Each post, reply, tip, and question bring value. And the more you share, the richer and more useful this space becomes.

We look forward to hearing from you!
