When E7 (economy 7) tariff was introduced many years ago the idea was to use the grid at night when there was less demand..
Now with electric vehicles being charged at night and unreliable renewable energy being used E7 is being phased out?..
Nutzero supporters like Ed milliband openly saying E7 will be gone in 3years to make room for EVcharging overnight.
The "plan" is to make the grid work with solar and wind and only occasionally sell cheap energy when the wind blows..
Rich people like king Charles are rushing to buy wind and solar farms that are heavily subsidised by taxpayers so there woke owner's can enjoy big profits..
I've been digging around for information on this and it's clear there plan is to remove E7 but obviously nothing official YET so as not to spook anybody.

    Hi @Frank1

Thanks for your thoughts. As mentioned on my previous post - Economy 7 tariffs and tariffs without standing charges aren't going anywhere! There is a particular issue related to the meter type that you have that means we're unable to offer a tariff without a standing charge anymore - however we are able to get this fixed for you by installing a newer generation smart meter.

I note that you have also posted on our Trustpilot page, and believe my colleague Ben will be in touch shortly to discuss the issues you're facing in more detail.

    Many thanks
    Pete
