    Hi , this morning in my post I received a letter from utilita saying " thanks for setting up your direct debit" .
    Cannot understand why as I have had my direct debit in place for past 3 years.
    Can one of the team find out why this letter has been issued please.

    Thanks so much for taking the time to get in touch.

    Ordinarily, you'll receive this sort of letter or email when there has been a change to your Direct Debit amount - this will tend to come after a Direct Debit review, or at a point where the tariff has been updated.

    However, if you are concerned by this, I'd absolutely recommend giving our contact centre team a call to discuss this further - they are specialists in Direct Debit discussions and will absolutely be able to go into more detail about this for you. You can contact them on 0330 333 7442 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm Saturday. Monday's tend to be our busiest day of the week, so I'd recommend calling after 5pm on a Monday.
