I followed the instructions to activate emergency credit and it said rejected. Why did that happen?

Thanks for your post. The meter usually only says rejected when it is in vend mode. Can I ask what buttons you pressed while trying to accept the emergency credit?

Another reason might be that, you have tried to accept during friendly credit hours. This would mean that you would already have emergency credit running on the meter.
