So I see many many posts...all asking the same thing. When ?

telling us "January" is useless. How are we supposed to budget with "January" rather than actual date. It's been. 5 weeks since the first payment (that lasted 15 days thanks to the price hike)

i think i speak for everyone when i say "give us some useful information...and a date"

@Tommyw8199 Hi there, Utilita cannot guarantee a specific date - they are not given one and it is the WHD benefit scheme themselves and it all depends on when checks and regulations have been done. Hence the time frame rather than specific dates - to avoid promising firm dates that cannot be guaranteed and therefore causing disappointment.

    What checks ?
all other energy companies have done it in 1 payment. As you have split it.. What possible checking needs doing ? As we have already been accepted and paid half of it. It's minus 1 here today... me..and may others are freezing. I literally cannot afford to heat my house until we finely get this 2nd payment. I don't think you realise just how much people are depending on it

@Tommyw8199 Hi there, this is simply the information and scheme details and is not down to one person.

If you ring Utilita they can help with heating needs, they can give out emergency advance Power Ups, and there is £15 Emergency & Friendly Credit hours.

The Utilita Community is a place for helpful information and community advice, it is not an official customer service platform.

    Thanks,
    Rebecca
