    Just had E-Mail saying 'Great news! Your energy is now being supplied by Utilita. Your electricity switched to us on and your gas switched to us on . With no dates in the mail at all. As I believed I joined Utilita on the 1st Sep I gave my final electric readings to SP and Utilita for electric used up to midnight on the1st Sep now the E-Mail sent said
    'Today 03/09/2024 at 10.22
    Your energy supply has transferred to us - nice!
    So Q do I need to give SP and Utilita todays 3/9/24 electric reading?
    Jot it down just in case.
    Or let Utilita and SP talk this date out?

    @Gosport69 Hi there, Utilita will know your supply starts on the 3rd as they will have the record in order to email you that date. SP should then also be notified you supply has officially left. If you are on smart meters then you will not need to give any opening readings.
