I suffer with this condition for many years, but on Monday and Tuesday I managed to get out of the house using my mobility scooter for the 1st time in nearly a year. So as you can imagine how proud of myself I am. I hope this thread helps others like me? Who suffer mental and physical disabilities. Lots of virtual hugs everyone. Xxx

I know how hard it can be to suffer with Agoraphobia and the fact that you made it outside not just once but twice in the same week is a massive accomplishment I am really happy for you Storm.

That is SO good to hear and so brave of you to share something personal like this. You are an inspiration to anyone feeling or experiencing the same as you, even for those experiencing any kind of mental health struggles.

I can't imagine how hard it is especially in the current climate and all the uncertainty out there. My grandmother lived with it for the best part of the last 20 years of her life & did not manage to leave the house in the last 10 years even once, and only to experience it through someone else was enough to gasp how exhausting it must be to live with.
