    Changed my gas supplier to utilita in December and had a new smart meter installed, the credit they gave me till the new meter was installed was paid to them think it was £79 this was paid within 2 days. Of the smart meter install . But I think the engineer may have set up the meter to get the money back by a higher rate...the normal rate 1 is 23.783p per kwh ,, but I'm being charged 42.716p per kwh can anyone enlighten me thanks.

    This would be one for an advisor to look into on the phone with you, as they would need to look into your account and see what tariff and rates you are on.

    Hi Rebecca as of yet no one from utilta has contacted me, I have emailed them with all the relevant info and contact details.,,as its near impossible to get through on a phone without waiting for hours. Could you please follow this up going forward thanks.

    Still no reply from utilita one way or another, will give them 24hrs to contact me failing that a complaint will be getting lodged, as I'm out of pocket every day for the first 2 kwh. Heard about this non replying looks like it's true.
