    Why are Utilia so hard to contact and when you finally get through staff are far from helpful and patronising with their "yes maam" quicker I leave the better! Shocking company to say the least. .

    I have to agree this is the worst company to use for utilities. The call centre staff are rude and dismissive. I don’t even think they actually listen when you explain your problem to them. Mind you that’s if you actually manage to get through. And don’t bother to email because you will never get a reply. It took me 5 years to pay off a debt on my account that was of their making because they didn’t set my meters or payments up properly in the first place.

    And don’t get me started on their NO standing charge, what they do is charge you more per unit. Crafty way of getting round NO standing charge. I wish I could change but I haven’t got the energy or motivation to look for another supplier. Neither do I want to end up in the same position as I was 7 years ago with a mounting debt.

    It’s about time Ofgem held Utilita to account for their behaviour towards their customers.
