    So I had my gas meter installed yesterday was meant to have both gas and electric meter changed to smets 2 however as I already had a smets1 electricity meter the engineer just changed the gas to a smets1 I'm a pay as you go customer but the in home display is saying the gas meter is in credit mode, I've tried pressing the buttons on the meter to see what that says but every button I press gives me the same response of 'not used' just wondering if anyone knows how long it will take to start working

    Hi there - as you only had it installed yesterday it is not unusual for it to be put in credit mode for the first 24/48 hours whilst its syncing and connecting with our back end systems.

    After this time it should change back to pre-payment mode.
