17th January and nothing from Utilita so far. The Government awarded this money in December.
Email reply from Utilita today.
"I have looked into your account and can confirm that we have received the instruction to pay and this will be paid directly onto your bill, however we have until March 2024 to make all payments for the Warm Home Discount 2023/2024."
It is beyond belief to me that a fund being made available to help out when the heating bills are at their highest and for a vulnerable group are being held by Utilita.
It is just annoying that "we have until March 2024 to make all payments" acknowledging that I have been awarded the money, but Utilita feel they can pay it when they like, on their terms.
Consistently the worst company I have ever had any dealings with. I wonder if they would be so relaxed if I took this approach to paying my bills.
