Last week live on Good Morning Britain - Bill Bullen, CEO of Utilita Energy was answering viewers questions, read-out by presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway:
Can someone ask Utilita to answer their phones, we are getting nowhere?
Bill Bullen, CEO of Utilita Energy responded:
"Well, we are being asked to run at a loss by Ofgem, so there is a limit to what we can do. I know it's really frustrating for me, as I know there are customers out there who can't get through to us, but we really cannot afford to employ any more people
- and that's the reality of it."

Also here's a tip if you're having problems getting through to them directly over the phone such as waiting ages or even being disconnected!...
Try calling 023 8100 0085 - that's Utilitia's Customer Budgeting Department. They will tell you its the wrong number but I've found they have the ability to sort out most problems better than any other number I've contacted them in the past, and usually the wait for someone to answer is short. -
Cheers I have just sat in a queue for another 2 hours to get throught to an agent only to be given another load of waffle about the government being to blame then put on hold and cut off. So I will try on Monday
