Hi everyone.. can someone tell me please how much gas charges are per hour? I put my heating on for 10 minutes in the morning and late at night... so that 20 minutes... I put the hot water on once in the evening too for 30 minutes... I then switch off the mains... so no gas I being used.. my meter took 3 pounds .. is this normal? I didn't even use my cooker.. I've asked for utilita to check my meter but they can't apparently coz its old... I now have to wait til January to have a smart one fitted... something seems off with my charges.... thanks.

I have no idea what the charges are an hour, but I had a similar situation where I put the heating on for 20mins and it cost £1.30. I haven’t put it back on since, as I simply can’t afford it. House was freezing this morning, but what can you do?

It doesn’t matter what you are told, they are literally taking money when they want and as much as they want .

@Emzy yeah similar then it's outrageous.. I have flu and I'm not able to keep the heating on.. complete madness.. then I had an email saying its gping up... joke. X

@Curlypud62i can inagine... I've been told to move to octopus by a friend apparently they ate good..
