Match Reviews:

What an unbelievable weekend of football for fans of the sport. Plenty of matches complete with great team performances and a good amount of high scoring fixtures.

Kicking off with Arsenal v Aston Villa, the Gunners were able to have the highest goal attempts under their boss Mikel Arteta leading to a positive result, it appears that the combination of their two front men has been a real revelation to the side. Although it is still early if their recent run of form is anything to go by, it does appears that The Arsenal may be able to surprise a few critics this season.

Chelsea dispatched Norwich with ease scoring 7 past the Canaries who had a difficult afternoon at Stamford bridge. The hattrick from the young English talent that is Mason Mount was a delight, he was instrumental in encouraging the home fans that they should be expecting many exciting results this season as Chelsea played some dangerous attacking football, doing so without their main strikers - a very positive sign for them.

Palace, Leeds and Southampton all were held to draws by their respective visitors, but each game was special in their own way with some standout moments. Key moments included the talented Tino Livramento with his debut goal for our beloved south-coast side and the last minute Penalty from Rodrigo at Leeds' home ground.

Elsewhere, the biggest surprise must be the amount of goals this top Liverpool team was able to put past a Man United team who were tipped for title contention but appear to be struggling to find form under their current system, this match was definitely a great watch for the neutral fan although many United fans hearts were broken this evening, increasing the pressure for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men.

If you missed this weeks football I would strongly suggest recapping on the highlights, these fixtures in particular appeared unpredictable at the start and even more so now looking at each individual result. It will be a long and challenging seasons for many clubs but we should be expecting some great football from a lot of players.
