    Meal ideas
    11-12-20

Does anyone have any meal ideas? I’m getting a bit bored of the usual also nothing too complicated. I recently made a chicken, chorizo and mushroom pasta with carbonara sauce and that was lovely.

    Hi @Tillymint ,

Slow cookers are a godsend and make all my meals so much easier and you can make so many different combinations, chicken casserole for instance chuck frozen pre cooked chicken frozen or fresh veg a little stock leave it for 6 hours on slow add some Gravy granules and your smell the aroma all through the day as it cooks.

Although if your up for some experimenting try making your own home made Chinese style Fried rice its really simple scramble some egg add some boiled rice to a wok, Dash of Soy Sauce, Dash of sweet chilli some garden peas and some meat of your choice (none at all if your vegan/vegie) its done in minutes. 😊

Hi @Tillymint I have absolutely LOVED halloumi and veg fajitas! They are quick and so yum!

Simply pick up a Mediterranean foil veg pack from most fresh veg sections in the supermarkets (I get mine from TESCO) & a haloumi pack and of course your favourite fajitas kit!

Then shove the veg tray in the oven, slice and fry the halloumi - follow the instructions on the fajita pack and it is honestly read in about 15 mins, most of that is oven time! 😀

Not to mention making the fajitas is so fun!

Hi @Tillymint for me this evening it's going to be curried chicken wraps. Just get some curry paste and loosen it a little with some olive oil. Smear it on a piece of chicken and roast it. Load up the wrap with the hot chicken and plenty of salad :)
